TLN Qatar Hosts War of Designs By Angel Line’s Safia Al Qahtani
30th April 2014Angel Line by the Qatari designer Safia Al Qahtani showcased her latest summer creations at The St. Regis Dohs Hotel’s Grand Ballroom. Her collection entitled “War of Designs” was by far the biggest fashion show done by a Qatari designer. The theme was Middle Eastern couture inspired by the women of the Medieval Times, the models walked the runway channeling the classical icon and Archduchess of Austria, Marie Antoinette.
The fashion show was presented by one of the most prominent personalities in the Arab World, the superstar Halima Bolland, who wore a special Angel Line abaya and turban, and some exquisite accessory pieces by Alzain Jewelry. Skin and Soul by Hannan Najjar was responsible for the Vintage Western look of the models. The taste buds of the VIP ladies were warmed up by Nespresso, and Newby Tea of London. The guests couldn’t help but strike a pose and take photos with two of the Italian luxury car manufacturer Maserati’s latest edition of Ghibli and Quattroporte on display on the venue. All abaya pieces will be sold exclusively at Al Anood Exhibition happening at the Diplomatic Club, West Bay Lagoon, from April 29 to May 3, 2014. Doors are opened from 10 am to 11 pm.
Nespresso, a member of The Luxury Network Qatar, served coffee to all the VIP guests and showcased a superb display on the venue.
