The Luxury Network Qatar’s Inspiring Breast Cancer Awareness Event: A Night of Hope and Unity
12th November 2024On October 23rd, 2024, The Luxury Network Qatar hosted an unforgettable evening dedicated to breast cancer awareness, bringing together influential voices, luxury brands, and inspiring stories. This event united the community in a meaningful cause to raise awareness and support those affected by breast cancer.
The program commenced with a warm welcome for guests, who enjoyed refreshments and a photo opportunity in front of the event’s backdrop. Mrs. Nawar Hasan, the evening’s emcee, set a heartfelt tone for the night, followed by a speech from Fares Ghattas, Global CEO of The Luxury Network, who officially opened the event with a message of hope and unity.
The evening saw impactful presentations from key figures, including international event planner Dalia Taha and Mr. Ahmet Antepli, GM of The Plaza Doha, who expressed the venue’s commitment to the cause. Apex’s CMO, Bob Issa, represented The View Hospital and Korean Hospital, emphasizing their dedication to supporting breast cancer awareness and care.
Special guest Youmna Khoury, a public figure, shared her journey in support of breast cancer awareness and discussed how her brand, Youmi Beauty, empowers women through beauty. Guests were also moved by a performance from Muze Entertainment, dedicated to breast cancer awareness.
The program continued with expert talks by Dr. Mazen Bishtawi and Dr. Michel Hajjar, offering insights into the progress and importance of breast cancer education and screening. In an inspiring survivor spotlight, renowned chef Aisha Al Tamimi shared her courageous battle with cancer, reminding everyone of the strength and resilience within. Minwa Al Sulaiti, a digital entrepreneur, spoke of her experience supporting her mother’s cancer journey, while Qatari entrepreneur Amal Ameen closed the program with empowering words of support.
