Al Asmakh International Symposium Organized By The Luxury Network Qatar
16th March 2015Regency Art together with Wyndham Grand Regency Doha, today hosted the third edition of the “Al Asmakh International Symposium of Art 2015 Doha”.
After the weeklong cultural event which was set in the 5 star equipped camp in Sealine, which brought together more than 50 local and international artists from a diverse range of countries who expressed their creativity by capturing the beauty of Qatar through visual arts, Wyndham Grand Regency Doha Hotel opened its door to the closing ceremony of what has been a true Art expedition.
Afore the opening of the exhibition, a glamorous cocktail reception was held in Wyndham Grand Regency Doha’s lobby which began 7:00pm for all VIP guests including several government Ministers.
The exhibition took place in Al Qasr Ballroom which was transformed into an Art Gallery and was inaugurated with ribbon cutting by the Minister of Culture, Arts & Heritage, His Excellency Dr. Hamad Bin Abdulaziz Al-Kuwari with the presence of Mr. Hassan Ibrahim Hassan Al Asmakh, Vice-President of Regency Group and Mr. Mohammed Atiq Al-Dosari, the Qatari Artist & General Manager of Regency Art as well as attending Ministers. The guests were welcomed with a public tour of the paintings where each artist briefly explained their artistic works. Members of the Doha Orchestra entertained the guest with beautiful music in the background of the luxuriously set-up of the ballroom.
The event was supported by the Ministry of Culture, Arts & Heritage and sponsored by Qatar Islamic Bank, Qatar Airways, Sano Foundations and heavy equipment, Hyundai Elevators, Wyndham Grand Regency Doha, Eventos, Regency Halls, Regency Facilities Management, Regency Fleets, Art Friends Production, Regency Holidays 101 Qatar and Regency Group Holding.
